WHAT IS SEXUAL PERFORMANCE ANXIETY?

Sexual performance anxiety is characterized by the inability to fully enjoy and relax during sexual intimacy. As a result, a person may dread having sexual activity and associate feelings of discomfort or shame with sex. Sexual performance anxiety can affect both men and women in different ways. 

HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORKS FOR THE ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION (ED)?

Erectile dysfunction in men is characterized by the inability to have an erection or inability to last. Usually, a person has a negative inner dialogue about their performance, reflecting in thoughts like: "I am unable...," "It won't work...," "What will she think of me..." etc. In this case, the person is not in the moment, not enjoying sex, and is generally disconnected from his partner. Through hypnosis, it is possible to rewrite the inner dialogue and learn to dismiss limiting thinking, and instead immerse yourself in the moment of the sexual intimacy physically, emotionally and mentally. Through a hypnotherapy process of regression a person can disconnect from the events of the past that caused the negative thinking. 

HOW ARE WOMEN AFFECTED BY SEXUAL PERFORmance ANXIETY?

Women who suffer with sexual performance anxiety are unable to relax and experience a climax during sex. Similarly, a woman may experience negative thinking, self-criticism and low self-esteem. There is usually a mental narrative stemming from the personal negative experience experienced in the past. With hypnosis it is possible to rewrite the narrative and accept and process healthier pictures and thoughts associated with sex. This allows a person to begin to enjoy it fully, leading to better and more enjoyable outcomes.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE HYPNOSIS SESSION?

You will experience a light state of trance, programming of the mind with new positive belief statements to counteract the disempowering mental mindset. Powerful visualization and mental rehearsal of healthy sexual interaction will be used to enhance your belief in your ability to relax during sex and perform. 

HOW MANY SESSION DO I NEED TO OVERCOME SEXUAL PERFORMANCE ANXIETY?

It requires at least two sessions to overcome sexual performance anxiety. Both hypnosis sessions will be recorded to allow the client to listen to them for the reinforcement of the programming. You will also learn self-hypnosis techniques and relaxation techniques to help release tension and anxiety.
